After being awarded “Best Ramen” by Boston Magazine in 2021, Brookline’s Ganko Ittetsu Ramen has undoubtedly served as THE go-to spot to order up the classic and heartwarming comfort dish. The acclaimed eatery was founded by chef Ken Iwaoka eight years ago, and after closing his Providence, RI location earlier this year, Iwaoka is ready to open a brand new location in the Braintree area.

Ganko Ittetsu Ramen was the first restaurant to bring Sapporo style ramen to the New England food scene, with the goal of preserving the traditional roots of Sapporo ramen while adding its own modern twist.

The insanely delicious menu includes traditional, modern, spicy and non-spicy Ramen dishes, including Gankaro Miso, Gantetsu Shoyu, Shio-Paitan, Miso, Shoyu, Tori-shio and much more.
