After nearly a decade at the Hingham Shipyard, Boathouse Bistro & Pizzeria is heading for a fresh start by the sea.

The North Shore-inspired eatery, known for its wood-fired pizzas and other Italian-American fare, is relocating to Hull‘s Nantasket Beach Resort at 45 Hull Shore Dr. The restaurant will take over the former home of Shoreline Kitchen & Bar, which shuttered in late 2024.

Owners Steve and Tinka McCauley first announced the move in April, and in a recent social media update, they wrote, “We’re beyond excited to open at Nantasket Beach Resort and share what’s next.”

The new, larger location comes with plenty of perks, including a new bar, a wood-fired pizza oven, expanded indoor dining, and a patio with waterfront views, reports The Patriot Ledger. The upgraded space will also allow the McCauleys to continue offering catering, host private functions, and debut new menu items alongside returning favorites.

Boathouse’s last day of service in Hinham was yesterday, June 24, 2025. While an official opening date for the Hull location has not yet been announced, the McCauleys teased that “a new date is coming soon.”

As for the Shipyard space, it won’t sit empty for long. Cohasset-based Salty Days Fish Co. is set to open a second outpost there this fall, bringing its fan-favorite sushi to Hingham.
