A European-inspired local restaurant, Ten Tables, in Boston, Massachusetts, has announced its closure and will serve its final meal on December 31. The farm-to-table restaurant has been serving the community for two-and-a-half decades. The restaurant owner, Krista Kranyak, announced the closure on social media.
Boston’s Ten Tables Bids Farewell After a Quarter Century
Ten Tables is well-known for its inviting atmosphere and handmade cocktails paired with a creative food menu. Along with that, the restaurant serves local craft beer and a sustainable, curated wine list.
Some of the popular dishes include Chocolate Terrine, Hanger Steak, Olive Oil Cake, and Carnivore.
Owner Krista Kranyak shared the news on social media. “Our last service as Ten Tables will be on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2025,” said the owner.
Expressing appreciation for the community, staff, and local farmers, she wrote, “I’m closing this chapter with immense gratitude—for every guest who squeezed into one of our tiny tabletops, every farmer who showed up at the back door, and every member of our team who poured their heart into this restaurant.”
The restaurant assured its fans that it would come back with a new concept soon. “Reimagining what comes next: a new concept that honors the intentional, crafted, and change-making purpose that is my passion. I can’t wait to share more soon,” Kranyak said.

Restaurant Receives Tributes on Social Media
The news of its sudden closure saddened the loyal fans of Ten Tables. Patrons praised the restaurant’s creative menu and memorable meals, calling it a neighborhood favorite for special dinners.
One of the fans shared a cherished memory and wrote, “My now wife and I had one of our first dates there in 2008. Thank you! Whatever comes next for you, we will be there to support you.”
Another customer penned down a heartfelt message: “So many great dinners and memories were created there. Champagne in the prep kitchen while waiting for a table, duck confit on a cold winter night, and Stan’s wine recommendations are just a fraction of them.” They further added, “Can’t wait to see what comes next.”
With Ten Tables closing, Boston’s dining scene is losing a gem. The restaurant is inviting people to visit before it closes. No official reason for the closure has been shared.
