A Brazilian-style hot dog eatery is gearing up for expansion.
According to several social media updates, Hot Doogy will soon open at the Natick Mall, located at 1245 Worcester St. The new restaurant will be situated near the food court on the western side of the mall.
Founded in 2021 by Framingham couple Thiago and Fernanda Andrade, the original Hot Doogy debuted in Natick’s Sherwood Plaza Shopping Center. The Andrades quickly added a second location at the Kingston Collection Mall, though it appears that the site is no longer operational.
A 2022 report from MetroWest Daily News reveals that, at one point, Hot Doogy was also looking to expand into Boston. However, a specific site has not been announced, and it’s unclear if those plans are still in the works.
Hot Doogy is known for its loaded Brazilian-style hot dogs, featuring adventurous toppings like fried chicken, cheddar sauce, and bacon. The eatery also offers lunch bowls, handcrafted burgers (including a recently launched wagyu burger), sides, milkshakes, and açaí bowls.
A representative for the company confirmed this development with What Now Boston but did not respond to further questions. Keep an eye out for more details—including a grand opening date—as Hot Doogy prepares to open at the Natick Mall.
