A fast-casual Mediterranean chain is expanding its presence in Massachusetts.

A recent photo posted in the Friends of Boston’s Hidden Restaurants Facebook group reveals that Cava is coming soon to Chelmsford. This news is confirmed by the eatery’s Google Business page, which lists its future location at 40 Drum Hill Rd.

Founded in 2010 by childhood friends Ted Xenohristos, Ike Grigoropoulos, and Chef Dimitri Moshovitis, alongside industry veteran Brett Schulman, Cava combines fresh Greek flavors with customizable convenience.

The chain is celebrated for its Mediterranean-inspired salads, grain bowls, and pita wraps, complemented by sides like hummus and tzatziki, as well as desserts such as brownies and blondies.

Since its launch, the eatery has expanded to nearly 400 locations nationwide, including thirteen in Massachusetts alone.

A representative for Cava told What Now Boston that while an exact opening date has not been set, the Chelmsford location is expected to debut later this winter.
