A new all-day eatery is headed to Newton Corner.

Local restaurateur Roger Zeghibe is opening CircleBack Kitchen & Bar in the former Hopsters space at 292 Centre St, according to an update shared in the Newton Real Estate Forum Facebook group.

Zeghibe told What Now Boston that the new spot will serve a rotating, seasonally-inspired menu featuring elevated American comfort food infused with international flair. Expect influences stretching from Brazilian to Mediterranean, plus a 12-seat bar pouring craft cocktails, fun mocktails, local beers, and plenty of wine.

With more than 35 years in the restaurant industry, Zeghibe is no stranger to Boston’s dining scene. He also operates several beloved establishments across Boston and Maine, including Porttown Public House, Beantown Pub, and The Hub Pub in downtown Boston.

Currently undergoing a full renovation, the new 55-seat restaurant is slated to debut in early January 2026. It will be open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with acoustic music and brunch on weekends, plus a possible late-night menu down the road.

“We think it’ll be great for the neighborhood,” said Zeghibe. “Everything about the place is fresh. It’s going to be a really cool restaurant.”
