Earlier this year, a posting revealing the auctioning of assets for the recently closed Boston landmark bar The Pour House perked eyes and ears up as the announcement of what would be taking it over was still pending. It’s been recently revealed that Dani’s Queer Bar will officially be occupying the space and is “coming soon” according to the new concept’s website.

The bar’s official Instagram has given a few updates about the opening timeline, with a recent one from co-owner Thais Rocha reading, “Everything is moving a lot slower than I’d like it to, so please be patient. Although we don’t have an official opening date yet, rest assured it’s coming soon. We are working really hard to bring the bar to life.”

The new bar has been coined by the owners as a space for Sapphic, Trans, and Non-binary community members. What Now Boston has reached out for comment on the current opening timeline.
