Boston Magazine recently reported that a fresh addition is on its way to the South End, with a new restaurant and cocktail/listening bar located at 647 Tremont St.

Led by MAZÍ Food Group, which is known for popular spots like Ilona, Gigi, and Kava Neo-Taverna, Desnuda Cocina e Bar will offer a unique dining experience under the skillful guidance of Executive Chef Jesus Preciado.

Chef Preciado, who also oversees the menus at all MAZÍ restaurants, brings a wealth of inspiration to Desnuda Cocina e Bar. The name “Desnuda,” meaning “naked” in Spanish, symbolizes the restaurant’s mission to strip traditional Mexican, Peruvian, and Asian cuisine bare, revealing their essence in innovative dishes.

Additionally, a spokesperson for MAZÍ told Boston Magazine that the establishment seeks to “capture the fiery, Latin heartbeat,” so patrons can anticipate a focus on inventive cocktails and curated music playlists.

Set to open its doors in the summer of 2024, Desnuda Cocina e Bar is poised to become Boston’s hottest culinary and nightlife destination.
