Five Iron Golf is opening a second Boston location at 311 Summer St in Fort Point.
Co-founded by Mike Doyle, Nora Dunnan, Jared Solomon, and Katherine Solomon in New York City, the indoor golf chain has swiftly expanded since its 2017 inception. Today, Five Iron boasts over 20 locations across a plethora of major U.S. cities, along with international franchise sites in Singapore and India.
According to a licensing board hearing page, the upcoming Fort Point location will feature six golf simulators on the lower level, complemented by seating areas, a bar, a kitchen, and two duckpin bowling lanes. The first floor will house seven additional golf simulators, more seating areas, and another bar. An outdoor seasonal patio will also be included.
Danielle Kindelmann, Five Iron’s Director of Marketing and PR, told What Now Boston that the kitchen will serve the chain’s signature upscale bar food, including wings, quesadillas, and handcrafted bar-style pizzas, alongside new items like the Ahi Tuna Tostada.
She also emphasized that the cocktails are “really carefully curated,” featuring options like the Signature Transfusions, Spicy Mango Margaritas on tap, local draft beers, and a variety of canned favorites. “We are truly a sports bar—the bar is high for drinks and the sports are on deck to either play or watch throughout our spaces,” said Kindelmann.
The new Five Iron Golf location is slated to open in the last quarter of 2025.
