Local chain Flavor Boom! is expanding to Cambridge‘s Kendall Square.

Owners Harrison Liao and Jim Tao are opening their fourth location at 201 Broadway, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. Once it debuts, the new eatery will join existing Flavor Boom! outlets in downtown Boston, Jamaica Plain, and Watertown.

Founded in 2021, the casual concept blends Asian and Mediterranean influences, offering a bounty of bowls for dine-in, takeout, or delivery. Guests can choose from a variety of diet-friendly options, including the Filipino Chicken Adobo (dairy-free), Burgundy Braised Beef (dairy- and gluten-free), and Moroccan Eggplant Zaalouk (dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan).

The menu also features unique sides and sweets, such as tiramisu served in a cup, a shareable pound of rice, “stupid hot” chopped chilis described as “a touch sweet and absurdly spicy,” and Wang Wang rice crackers—a light, crispy snack.

Liao told What Now Boston that Flavor Boom! Kendall Square is scheduled to open in about a month.
