A new fast casual fusion eatery from Bekir Senates (Istanbul Diner Cafe) is heading to Boston’s Longwood Galleria with an unexpected flavor combination up its sleeve. Istanbul Döner Burrito is set to arrive at the 400 Brookline Avenue address and will be crafting up Turkish Mexican–inspired eats.

According to the eatery’s recently developed website, Istanbul Döner Burrito has, “embarked on a culinary journey that marries the best of two worlds: the savory delights of Turkish doner and the irresistible allure of Mexican burritos.”

Providing an official comment to What Now Boston, Senates says, “Istanbul Döner Burrito is going to serve Turkish and Mexican Foods and Specials Döner (Turkish) means Gyro (Greek), Shawarma (Arabic) and which some people know as German Döner.”

The website further details some information regarding what guests can expect regarding flavors and bite options including a selection of savory and spicy burritos, bowls, chips and dips, and quesadillas. There is also a “catering” tab available for inquiry on the current landing page’s navigation bar.
