A new Italian steakhouse is taking shape in Bedford.

Boston Restaurant Talk reports that Gianna’s Kitchen is coming soon to 363 Great Rd, taking over the former site of Minuteman Diner, which closed in late July 2025.

The new restaurant is the brainchild of local entrepreneur Edwin Alexanderian, who also owns Invisible Touch Body Shop right next door on YD Drive, as well as WilloughVale Inn and Cottages on Lake Willoughby in Westmore, Vermont.

Named after Alexanderian’s teenage daughter, Gianna, the upcoming eatery promises a full-service Italian experience for breakfast, lunch, and eventually dinner.

According to The Bedford Citizen, patrons can look forward to meats and eggs sourced from a Barton, Vermont butcher, along with dishes such as steaks and individual Neapolitan pizzas.

While the full menu is still being finalized, Alexanderian says the opening is coming “soon.”
