The owner of a Boston-based catering service will soon open his first physical restaurant in Cambridge.

Chef Jonas Beausejour of Jonas Catering is launching a new burger concept called Juicy Jay’s in Kendall Square‘s forthcoming Eastern Edge Food Hall, located at 290 Main St. Beausejour announced the news in a social media post.

“The moment is finally here and I can finally let y’all know what I’ve been working on,” the Boston-born chef shared. “I am opening up my first Juicy Jay’s location [in] January 2026 in Cambridge, right in Kendall Square at MIT’s new food hall.”

According to a press release, Juicy Jay’s “reimagines classic American burgers with bold global flavors.” Featuring 70/30 beef patties, house-made sauces, and freshly baked buns, each burger is crafted to deliver “maximum flavor and juiciness.”

“This location means a lot,” Beausejour told What Now Boston. “I’m excited to bring a burger that’s more than the ordinary—something bold, juicy, and unforgettable, as well as a fried red snapper sandwich for the ages.”

Once it opens, the eatery will join eight other tenants at the roughly 11,000-square-foot food hall, including Clover Food Lab, Everybody Gotta Eat, Perillas Korean Kitchen, and Việt Citron.
