Klin Thai, a new Thai restaurant that just opened its doors in West Roxbury, is expanding to Haverhill.

The eatery, located at 1894 Centre St, made its debut this past Tuesday and is set to open a second location in the former site of Haverhill House of Pizza II at 56 Locust St.

The Haverhill License Commission recently granted owner Patcharin Jeesom a common victualler and liquor license, and an all-alcoholic beverage license is awaiting final approval from the state Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission. Although Jeesom could not be reached for comment, a report from Wavelengths mentions that the space is already undergoing renovations.

The Roxbury menu offers a mix of classic Thai favorites, including chicken gyoza, veggie spring rolls, tofu soup, pad thai, fried rice, and various curries. The upcoming Haverhill location will also offer acoustic music, live performances, and karaoke. Plans for up to two acoustic instrumentalists and a vocalist were approved by the Haverhill Police Department and endorsed by the commission.

Speaking before the commission in September, Jeesom said she believes that Klin Thai will be the first Thai restaurant in the city. Her company, PPT Hospitality, is behind seven other restaurants across Massachusetts.

While the official opening date hasn’t been announced yet, Klin Thai Haverhill will welcome guests daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., serving both lunch and dinner.
