A fast-growing ramen brand is continuing its push into Greater Boston.

Flushing, New York-based Kyuramen is headed to 1 Wheeler Road in Burlington, confirmed franchisee Charles Liu, who also operates a location in Brookline. When it debuts, the full-service restaurant will share a space with another well-known, to-be-announced Japanese eatery.

Both establishments will occupy a newly built structure at the corner of Middlesex Turnpike and Wheeler Road, on a parcel longtime residents may remember as home to Tweeter, Ski Haus, and GOLFTEC. “It’s a new plaza,” Liu told What Now Boston. “We will be the first resident.”

Founded by Gary Lin in 2014, Kyuramen was built with the simple mission of making high-quality ramen an affordable, everyday meal. That ethos has helped fuel its rapid expansion, with the brand now boasting more than 50 locations nationwide.

The menu spotlights carefully crafted bowls assembled by trained “ramen masters,” featuring elements like Japanese-style chashu pork, a jammy egg, and rich, flavorful broths. Beyond ramen, guests can enjoy small bites, desserts, and inventive creations like omurice and rice burgers.

Liu says the Burlington location will span roughly 4,600 square feet and seat around 81 guests, offering a more upscale vibe than other Kyuramen locations. Highlights include a “party room,” the brand’s signature honeycomb booths, additional yakitori options, and an expanded drink menu.

“Kyuramen Brookline is like Kyuramen 1.0,” Liu explained. “For Burlington, it will be Kyuramen 3.0… When we open, you will see it’s fancier and more beautiful than our other locations.”

Many Kyuramen restaurants share space with bubble tea brand TBaar, but the Burlington eatery will partner with a yet-to-be-announced Japanese-style eatery Liu calls “very famous and popular in New York… and on Instagram.”

Construction is currently wrapping up at Kyuramen Burlington. While an official opening date has not yet been announced, Liu says it will be revealed soon.
