A new restaurant by the name of La Padrona will soon open inside the Raffle Residences at 40 Trinity Place in the Back Bay area, according to a post from Boston Restaurant Talk.

A representative of La Padrona did not immediately return What Now Boston’s request for comment.

Boston Restaurant Talk’s post states that the goal opening date for La Padrona will be in December of this year. Behind the new restaurant is Jody Adams, the chef, and owner of Trade, Porto, and Saloniki.

For more than two decades, Adams served as the owner and executive chef of Rialto, a prestigious restaurant in Cambridge. In recognition of her culinary excellence, she was honored with the prestigious James Beard Award for Best Chef in America Northeast in 1997, according to her Wikipedia page.

The forthcoming restaurant will occupy two levels, with a lounge situated on the first floor and a dining room located above. La Padrona will showcase an authentic Italian culinary experience, highlighting delectable offerings such as freshly made pasta, artisanal cured meats and cheeses, and an exquisite selection of seafood dishes, The Boston Globe also reported in a recent article.
