A local mini-chain of bakeries is expanding with its fourth location.

According to Boston Restaurant Talk, Lakon Paris Patisserie signage has been spotted at 113 Autumn Ln in Boston’s Seaport District. Founded in 2020 by Vichaya “Jenny” Kiangkaew and her husband Urupong “Kope” Kharuharat, Lakon specializes in a variety of classic viennoiseries.

At the new bakery, patrons can expect an array of sweet and savory croissants (notably, their signature cube croissant), monkey bread, brioche cinnamon rolls, and morning buns. Lakon also offers a selection of decadent, intricately decorated cakes alongside cozy coffee and tea beverages.

In addition to the upcoming Seaport locale, Lakon has two established spots in Newton Highlands and Brookline’s Coolidge Corner. They also have a Brighton location that was initially scheduled to open in April but is now set for a soft launch tomorrow, July 17, 2024.

Jenny and Kope did not immediately respond to What Now Boston’s request for comment. However, a post on the Lakon Paris Patisserie Facebook page suggests that the Seaport bakery will debut before the end of 2024.
