Lakon Paris Patisserie, a Massachusetts bakery founded by husband-and-wife duo Vichaya “Jenny” Kiangkaew and Urupong “Kope” Kharuharat, is set to enchant Brighton with its third location at 407 Washington St. Ever since its Newton Highlands debut in 2020, Lakon has captivated pastry enthusiasts with its delightful croissants and innovative treats, establishing a lasting impression in the community.

The soon-to-open Brighton spot, expected to welcome guests in April 2024, boasts a thousand square feet of indoor seating—a departure from Lakon’s typical grab-and-go model, allowing patrons to savor their pastries in a relaxed and stylish setting. Moreover, the bakery is set for further expansion, with two additional Massachusetts locations expected to open in the latter parts of summer and fall 2024.

Lakon’s menu, celebrated for its exquisite pastries, remains faithful to its signature items while venturing into innovative plated desserts at the upcoming Brighton location. Kope highlighted Jenny’s passion for fashion, shaping the aesthetic of their creations: “Jenny specializes in plating and loves fashion. We’re looking to turn these beautiful pastries into an art form on the plate.” This unique blend of art and baking promises a delightful visual and culinary experience.

With Lakon Paris Patisserie’s commitment to culinary artistry and continuous expansion, the bakery is poised to redefine the dessert experience in Brighton and beyond.
