Popular neighborhood spot Ciao Restaurant and Bar has announced that it is closing its doors on February 21, 2026. The eatery, known for its Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizzas and pasta, is preparing to pass the business into new hands.

Ciao Restaurant and Bar Bids Goodbye

A family-owned business, Ciao Restaurant & Bar offers authentic Italian cuisine and craft cocktails. The eatery announced its closure in a social media post, noting that it will be handing over the business to new owners.

“With very full hearts, we share that after five amazing and unforgettable years, we will be closing our doors on February 21, 2026, as we prepare to pass this business into new hands in the coming months,” the post read. The owners expressed their gratitude to the community for their support not only to the business but also to their family.

“What started as a dream became something far greater because of all of you. Every order placed, every event trusted to us, every kind word, hug, and moment of support helped shape this journey into one we will cherish forever. It’s impossible to fully express how grateful we are for the love this community has shown us. You didn’t just support a business-you supported a dream, a family, and a passion,” the message read.

The post shared that guests were more than just customers, becoming an important part of their lives. The restaurant will continue service through Saturday, giving guests the last opportunity to dine in before the transition begins.

Ciao Restaurant and Bar Looks to the Future

With the announcement, the message expressed hope in what lies ahead and encouraged the community to stay connected as the next chapter unfolds. The post also shared personal updates of the owners, Sonia and Sean, from recent years, including the arrival of their two children.

“We have been busy the past couple of years; we welcomed 2 babies (Sadie & Sonny), Sonia ramped up her catering business @soniarosecatering, Sean having his own personal training business, Catalyst Performance, and our mobile coffee & bar trailer @drippy.coffeebar,” the post continued.

It also urged the followers to stay in touch and attend the restaurant’s last week. “We’ll be there kicking it with everyone, and you might even get to meet Sadie and Sonny. From the deepest place in our hearts, thank you for five incredible years. We will carry these memories with us always,” the post concluded.

As Ciao Restaurant and Bar prepares to close its doors, the owners are focusing on celebrating the final weeks with the community.
