A new Italian eatery is coming soon to Weymouth, and a local restaurateur is behind it.

According to a Boston Restaurant Talk source, Brava Cucina is taking over the former site of 4th & Cherry at 59 Washington St in Weymouth Landing. The restaurant’s Instagram and Google Business pages confirm this news.

Local restaurateur Devin Adams—who also operates Dotty’s Kitchen & Raw Bar (formerly The Townshend), Pearl & Lime, and The Drift at Steamboat Wharf Marina—is leading this venture.

Adams told What Now Boston that Brava will serve as a neighborhood Italian kitchen and bar, showcasing a variety of fresh housemade pastas and Italian street food.

The bar program will be “very strong,” managed by Palmer Matthews (Pearl & Lime, The Townshend, Drink Fort Point) and Jose Carrasquillo (Good Company, Idle Hour).

Brava Cucina is expected to open by the end of October 2024.
