Beloved vegan hotspot Lulu Green will soon sprout a second location at 675 W Kendall St in Cambridge‘s Kendall Square, according to a press release shared with What Now Boston.

Named “Best Vegan Restaurant” by Boston Magazine in 2024, Lulu Green operates as a café by day and a restaurant by night, offering weekend brunch and an all-day cocktail menu. Known for its chef-driven dishes crafted from seasonal, organic, and locally sourced ingredients, the plant-centric menu bursts with bold flavors.

Lulu Green is a family-run business founded by sisters Mary and Nada Lattouf, inspired by their Lebanese heritage and passion for clean eating. Mary, a food educator certified in plant-based nutrition through Cornell University, and Nada, a physicist and pharmacist, combine their expertise to create flavorful and functional plant-based cuisine.

With a menu created by Executive Chef Brian Corbley, The Kendall Square location will feature fan favorites like the Sweet Potato Broccoli Caesar and the Chick’n Sandwich, along with hand-cut fries exclusive to the new outpost. A selection of vegan sweets—including banana bread, pop tarts, and French macarons—will also be available.

The beverage program will highlight craft cocktails, organic and vegan wines, and locally brewed craft beers, as well as organic smoothies and a thoughtfully curated coffee and tea selection.

Designed by Andy Viera, the new space embraces Lulu Green’s signature aesthetic, with a playful palette of purples and blues. The airy, eco-conscious interior features high ceilings, a striking gradient wall, and cozy banquette seating for 24 guests. Outside, a greenery-lined patio overlooking a reflection pond will accommodate an additional 22 diners.

“We’re thrilled to share this concept with the Cambridge community,” said Mary in the release. “Our vision is to create more than just a restaurant—we want to offer the community a welcoming gathering space where incredible food, genuine hospitality, and a fun atmosphere come together to create a remarkable experience that people want to share with their friends and family.”

Lulu Green Kendall Square is scheduled to debut in late spring 2025.
