A growing fast-casual Middle Eastern mini-chain is making its Massachusetts debut.

NAYA plans to open at 95 Summer St in downtown Boston, taking over the former site of Noon/Daphne’s Mediterranean. A recent construction permit indicates that a buildout will soon begin on the space, featuring a reduced seating capacity.

Founded in 2008 by CEO Hady Kfoury, NAYA has grown from its original Manhattan location to 22 sites and counting across New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

The contemporary counter-service eatery offers build-your-own pitas, bowls, salads, and ‘rolls,’—wrap-like creations made with paper-thin pita. The menu also includes appetizers and desserts such as hummus, grape leaves, falafel, and baklava. Additionally, NAYA provides a diverse array of gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and nut-free options.

What Now Boston has reached out to NAYA representatives for information on the opening date and will update this page accordingly.
