A Mexican and Salvadorian restaurant may soon be coming to Roslindale.
According to a City of Boston licensing board hearing page, a petition has been filed to transfer the liquor license for Napper Tandy’s at 4195 Washington St to a new ownership group planning a Mexican and Salvadorian concept. If approved, Napper Tandy’s would continue operating its remaining locations in Millis, Norwood, and Walpole.
The prospective owners confirmed the filing with What Now Boston but emphasized that the project remains in its early stages as they work to secure the lease. Local licensing approvals are still pending, and a timeline for the proposed change has not yet been set.
Napper Tandy’s has occupied the Roslindale space since 2012, offering classic pub fare such as burgers, pizza, and wings, along with pool tables, darts, TVs, and weekly trivia nights. The business has not publicly announced plans to relocate or close.
Further details—including the incoming restaurant’s name, menu, and projected opening timeline—will be shared once plans are finalized. Stay tuned for updates.
