Sweet tooth enthusiasts across the metro can rejoice with the exciting arrival of Mia’s Brooklyn Bakery landing in the Boston area later this year. Already having existing locations in both Brooklyn and New York City proper, Mia’s has applied for a common victualler license to add a third storefront to the family in the Seaport neighborhood.
Mia’s Brooklyn Bakery was launched in 2015 by two families that shared an affection for exceptional classic confections. According to the bakery’s website, “After seeing how much joy a homemade chocolate soufflé brought to their homes, a delicious venture was born.” They chose the name Mia’s Brooklyn Bakery as an homage to Mia’s delight and their beloved city–authentic and from the heart, just like their baking!
Signature menu items will include Mia’s New York Style Cheesecake, the popular Tres Leches cupcakes, French macarons, tarts and gelato, as well as a variety of gluten free and vegan options. The sweet spot will also be offering custom cake orders as well as catering services.
