A high-end Indian café and bar is set to open in downtown Andover.

According to an Andover News article (via Boston Restaurant Talk), Monica’s Mithai Cafe & Bar will soon take over the former Yella space at 16 Post Office Ave.

Owner Monica Soni began selling her homemade Indian desserts from her home kitchen last year, and as demand grew, she began searching for a storefront so she could expand her offerings.

Monica’s will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring Indian specialties like laddoo (a spherical sweet), peda (a fudge-like dessert), kaju katli (a cashew-based confection), and more.

Soni has not yet responded to inquiries from What Now Boston, and an official opening date has not been announced. For the latest updates, follow Monica’s Mithai Cafe & Bar on Facebook and Instagram.
