A new bar and grill is set to open soon near Boston’s North Station.

According to Boston Restaurant Talk, Porter’s Bar & Grill has applied to transfer its alcohol license to The Flagrant Fowl, which will take over the former Porter’s location at 173 Portland St.

David Savoie, the listed manager and former owner of Silvertone Bar & Grill in Downtown Crossing—which closed in June—will head the new venture. Savoie recently hinted at the opening on social media, sharing a photo of a vintage Coors clock with the caption:

Second hand works but minute hand won’t move so it’s always 5 O’clock!!! Love my 70’s Coors clock. Will be hanging proudly at the new bar/resraurant! Coming soon….

The licensing notice mentions that The Flagrant Fowl will have seating for 66 in the dining areas and 16 at the bar. Additional details are expected after next week’s licensing board hearing. Keep an eye on the establishment’s Facebook and Instagram pages for updates.
