A new concept from a local restaurateur is making its way to Fenway Center.
According to the business’s Instagram page, Standard Italian is “coming soon” to the former All That Fish + Oyster space at 771 Beacon St, just outside of Kenmore Square.
Garrett Harker of local restaurant group ES Hospitality has teamed up with Beverage Director Jackson Cannon and Culinary Director Brian Rae to develop and manage this exciting new concept. The group also operates Eastern Standard Kitchen and Drinks and the neighboring craft cocktail bar, Equal Measure.
Located directly across from Eastern Standard and Equal Measure, Standard Italian aims to infuse the Fenway neighborhood with a “warm, hip energy,” as noted in a job listing from the eatery. The menu will feature classic Italian dishes, including hearty bowls of housemade pasta and an abundance of martinis.
Standard Italian is currently hiring line cooks, servers, and bartenders. The ES Hospitality team did not respond to What Now Boston’s multiple requests for comment, so stay tuned for opening day updates.
