A new family-owned Lebanese restaurant is coming to West Roxbury.

According to a Universal Hub report (via Boston Restaurant Talk), Bread Thyme will soon open in the former River Grille space at 1866 Centre St.

A recent social media post from the eatery reveals that it already has a “coming soon” banner draped across its building, hinting at the arrival of “authentic Lebanese cuisine.”

Bread Thyme’s menu will spotlight homemade, healthy fare, with its specialty being freshly baked manousheh (traditional Lebanese flatbread), topped with house-made za’atar. A variety of mezze, salads, and hearty dishes will also be offered, all crafted using time-honored recipes and locally sourced ingredients.

An opening date has not yet been announced. What Now Boston has reached out to husband-and-wife owners Gabi and Joelle Essber for further details and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
