Taco Azul, a new modern Mexican restaurant, is making its way to Beacon Hill under the guidance of seasoned restaurateur Dan Leyva, who is also behind the local Wings Over chain.

While the first location will open in Beacon Hill, Leyva’s ambitious plans include expansion to the Seaport, Cambridge, and throughout all of Massachusetts.

The restaurant will offer a casual yet full-service experience, complete with full liquor licenses and a menu featuring “delicious guacamole, tacos, and margaritas,” as reported by Boston Magazine.

According to Leyva, who boasts fifteen years of hospitality experience, Taco Azul will cater to a variety of occasions, from business lunches and family dinners to romantic date nights and fun outings with friends.

While Taco Azul plans to welcome guests in mid-2024, an exact opening date has not yet been set. Leyva confirmed these plans with What Now Boston, assuring that more details will be unveiled next week.

Stay tuned for the grand opening date, precise locations, and menu details. In the meantime, check out the eatery’s website, Instagram, and Facebook pages.
