A few months ago, What Now Boston reported on the official closing of The Rivershed in Scituate, though owner Kara Tondorf hinted at a new concept. Now, the restaurateur has shared further details.

Tondorf told What Now Boston that her upcoming venture, Casa Verde, is set to open soon at 108 Front St, taking over a space formerly occupied by Dunkin’.

Slated for a December 2024 debut, Casa Verde will offer a Latin-inspired menu featuring ceviche, paella, tapas, and other entrées.

Rivershed served a variety of casual American pub fare such as nachos, burgers, and sandwiches. There is another location in Killington, Vermont that remains open.

UPDATE: A previous version of this article stated that the Killington, Vermont Rivershed location could be closed. Tondorf has informed What Now Boston that it is, in fact, still open.
