House of Pho, a new pho restaurant, is set to open its doors at 770 Worcester Rd (Route 9) in Framingham, taking over the former site of Welcome India Cuisine. Owned by Mindy Nguyen, the restaurant is scheduled for a late January opening pending final inspections.

House of Pho features a diverse menu that extends beyond the flavorful noodle soup. Alongside the signature pho, patrons can indulge in rice dishes, cold noodle options, and a variety of soup selections. Nguyen, the sole owner, is excited about this new venture, drawing inspiration from her family’s background in cooking and previous restaurant experience.

In addition to her role as the owner of House of Pho, Nguyen also manages a nonprofit tutoring center in Worcester and teaches at both high school and college levels. Reflecting on her spontaneous decision to open House of Pho, she recalled a fortuitous encounter with the vacant space during a drive: “It was just kind of spur of the moment. There was a ‘For Rent’ sign, and I thought, ‘Oh, let’s just dive into this new venture.'”

Keep an eye out for the arrival of House of Pho, promising a delectable fusion of flavors in the heart of Framingham.
