A local chain of Mediterranean-inspired fast-casual cafés is growing its footprint at The District Burlington.

Pressed Café‘s Burlington eatery, located at 200 District Ave, is taking over the neighboring space, formerly home to Mane & Mani beauty salon.

According to the Daily Times Chronicle, this expansion will add 2,000 square feet and increase seating from 175 to 194 without changing the building’s exterior or outdoor dining area.

“This provides a unique opportunity for Pressed Café to expand its seating,” said local attorney Mark Vaughan of Riemer & Braunstein, representing the café. “They want this expansion for more seating so patrons are not waiting for tables to become available.”

Founded in 2007 by husband-and-wife duo Miri and Roi Shpindler, Pressed is celebrated for its all-day breakfast and Mediterranean-inspired menu. Guests can enjoy smoothies, coffee, salads, paninis, soups, and smashburgers, along with cocktails and plenty of vegan options.

Pressed Café currently operates six Massachusetts locations—including a recent Seaport debut—and four in New Hampshire. After receiving the board’s unanimous approval, the Burlington expansion is slated for completion in February 2026.
