At the beginning of the month, What Now Boston reported that Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers was planning at least three new locations in the Boston area. Now, another site is joining the local lineup.

According to a Boston Restaurant Talk report, Raising Cane’s is constructing a new site in the parking lot of the former Aegean Restaurant at 253 Cochituate Rd in Framingham. Additionally, the chicken finger chain is working on three more nearby outlets in Saugus, Medford, and Boston’s Downtown Crossing.

Raising Cane’s is known for its hand-battered chicken fingers, Texas toast, crinkle-cut fries, and signature dipping sauce. The company operates more than 700 restaurants across 37 states, as well as some locations in the Middle East.

An opening date for the upcoming Framingham Raising Cane’s has not yet been announced. Stay tuned for updates.
