Remnant Brewing slated to expand its business in Cambridge

Brewery is replacing Atwood’s Tavern, the company announced on social media.

Remnant Brewing, a business that started in 2018 in Somerville, is slated to take over the former Atwood’s Tavern that closed in March in Inman Square.

The brewing company located in Bow Market will have the classic ‘all day coffee service’ to keep up with its tradition in the new location. Customers can expect the restaurant to bring in some of its iconic flavors from the already existing menu.

The café-by-day and restaurant-by-night approach has garnered a lot of attention previously by many customers in the Somerville area. Owners David Kushner and Joel Prickett have teamed up with head brewer Charlie Cummings are reported to bring in exciting new IPAs for their new Cambridge location.

“Okay, remember when we told y’all we were expanding?? We’re delighted to share that our upcoming second location will be nestled at 877 Cambridge St, Cambridge, MA! This remarkable space is formerly home to Atwood’s Tavern!” said a Facebook post by the company’s official handle.

Remnant brewing has an outdoor patio with a cafe, bar, and its own standing room and can seat a total of 180 people.
