A new Vietnamese-inspired coffeehouse is brewing on the South Shore.
Saigonesee is coming soon to 39 Trotter Rd, Unit 106A in Weymouth, taking over a spot in The Point apartment complex right next to the commuter rail station, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The café promises to bridge the “gap between the slow-drip traditions of Saigon and the modern pace of Weymouth,” offering a contemporary, cozy spot for coffee lovers and foodies alike.
The husband-and-wife owners told What Now Boston that the Weymouth café will spotlight Fine Robusta coffee—beans rated 80+ on the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) scale, meaning only the highest-quality Robusta makes the cup.
From beans cultivated in the high-altitude volcanic soils of Vietnam’s central highlands, to meticulously hand-picked harvests at peak ripeness, to carefully refined roast profiles, each cup celebrates the ritual of the slow-drip phin.
“Coffee is the unspoken pact between ambition and calm,” the café’s website reads. “We meticulously refine our roast profiles with precision to ensure your ritual stays sacred.”
Saigonesee’s food menu will blend Vietnamese flavors with classic café fare. Guests can expect bánh mì sandwiches, spring rolls, and bagels, alongside breakfast and lunch staples. Gluten-free and vegan options will also be available.
The café is slated to debut in April, pending the completion of its buildout. For sneak peeks and grand opening updates, be sure to follow Saigonesee on Facebook.
