Food & Life Companies, a renowned sushi franchise with a thriving network of over 1,000 stores across Asia, is making its debut in the United States. As part of this culinary venture, Sakabayashi Sushi Tavern, a subsidiary of the company, will soon open at 665 Boylston St in Boston. The anticipated opening date is slated for either early February or late March of 2024, contingent upon the completion of construction.

According to Yosuke Tanaka, the Corporate Officer of International Business in North America, customers can expect an immersive Japanese experience provided by the leading sushi franchise in Japan. The menu will feature a diverse array of sushi, sashimi, ramen, and various seafood side dishes, complemented by an extensive selection of Japanese sake.

If the restaurant finds success in the Greater Boston Area, Food & Life Companies has ambitious plans to expand further, opening additional Sakabayashi stores throughout the region. Moreover, they intend to introduce locals to Sushiro, a revolving sushi restaurant and another subsidiary of Food & Life Companies. Sakabayashi Sushi Tavern promises to add an authentically Asian touch to the city’s ever-evolving dining scene.
