Last spring, What Now Boston reported that Connecticut-born Sally’s Apizza was planning a Massachusetts expansion. Now, the New Haven-style pizzeria has confirmed that two new locations are coming to Boston and Concord in 2026.

A representative for the chain told What Now Boston that the first restaurant will debut in Boston’s Seaport District/Fort Point neighborhood at 30 Thomson Place during the first half of 2026. The second location will follow in the latter half of the year at 768 Elm St in Concord, part of a new development that will also feature a Starbucks and a Chipotle.

Founded by Salvatore “Sally” Consiglio in 1938, Sally’s operates seven existing locations across Connecticut and Massachusetts, with five more currently in the works. The chain first launched in the Bay State with a Woburn opening in 2023, followed by a Dorchester debut this past September.

Sally’s is known for its New Haven-style “apizzas”—coal-fired, thin-crust pies celebrated for their crispy-yet-chewy texture and signature charred edges. The restaurant’s menu also features handheld sandwiches, plus classic starters such as garlic bread, fried calamari, and Italian wings.
