Good Company, described as a cocktail bar, will soon open sometime this fall at 100 Hood Park Drive in Charlestown, according to a recent article from the Boston Globe.
A representative from Good Company did not immediately respond to What Now Boston’s request for comment.
While the specific menu offerings of Good Company have yet to be confirmed, Seth Freidus, the creator, will be bringing numerous years of experience to this venture. During the time he was in college, he had the opportunity to work at Legal Sea Foods Park Plaza, the flagship restaurant and home to the largest wine program in the company at the time.
This experience ignited his interest in food and beverage, and he devoted himself to learning all aspects of the craft. Seeking a new challenge, he accepted the role of Beverage Director at the highly anticipated Alden & Harlow in Harvard Square. This venture presented the opportunity to develop a beverage program from scratch and lead a successful team.
Through meticulous curation and innovative concoctions, their efforts were rewarded with numerous accolades, solidifying Alden & Harlow’s status as a pioneer in the local restaurant scene. Encouraged by this success, he embarked on a similar journey at Waypoint, a sister restaurant, where he crafted another award-winning beverage program, firmly establishing himself as a force within Boston’s bar community, according to Seth’s website.
