It looks like a “fine-casual” burger and milkshake chain is coming to East Boston‘s Logan International Airport. Recent city permits indicate that preparations are currently in progress for Shake Shack’s new location at 300 Terminal C.

Since its humble beginnings as a hot dog cart inside Madison Square Park in 2001, Shake Shack has revolutionized the gourmet burger scene. With a presence spanning over 500 locations worldwide—including eight in Greater Boston alone—the franchise has earned widespread acclaim.

Shake Shack is celebrated for its 100 percent Angus beef burgers, flat-top Vienna hot dogs, crinkle-cut fries, creamy frozen custards, and namesake milkshakes. The menu also features chicken sandwiches, chicken bites, cheese fries, and vegan and vegetarian options such as the Veggie Shack, ‘Shroom Burger, and dairy-free chocolate custard.

Stay tuned for the official opening date as Shake Shack makes its debut at Logan International Airport.
