Founded in 2018, Big Chicken was brought to life by NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal to fuse his love for his favorite childhood eats with up-to-date flavors. It was only a matter of time before the fast casual joint would arrive in the Boston area and What Not Boston is happy to report the eatery is making its way to Northshore Mall.

Big Chicken’s menu features an abundance of fried fare with a roster of chicken sandos that steal the spotlight, including Uncle Jerome’s Nashville Hot, the Big Aristotle, the Shaq Attack, the Big & Sloppy and a crispy chicken grilled cheese. Other options include fries, mac and cheese, coleslaw, ice cream sandwiches and milkshakes.

An article published by QSR has confirmed an official lease signing by local business partners Paul Bains and Ryan Corcoran. Bains has offered comment to What Now Boston saying that the new fast casual spot is hoping to open at the Simon Property sometime during the first half of 2024.
