Ask about our detox plan!”
According to Edible Boston, Brown established Shea Butter Smoothies in 2017 within a friend’s gas station in Mattapan. With the shop quickly gaining momentum, Browne expanded the menu and extended her influence, embarking on a mission to provide premium ingredients to underserved black and brown communities in Mattapan, Roxbury, and the greater Boston area. When a neighboring space became available next to her friends at Lambert’s Rainbow Market, Browne seized the opportunity, opening her inaugural storefront in 2020.
The original Dorchester branch boasts a diverse menu featuring fruit smoothies, power-up smoothies, smoothie bowls, fresh-pressed juices, health shots, and refresher drinks. But the options don’t stop there; add-ons include whey and vegan protein, oats, fruits, veggies, non-dairy whipped cream, and more.
