A new concept blending vintage fashion and specialty coffee is preparing to open in Somerville.
Nostalgia Vintage Café will soon debut at 322 Somerville Ave, confirmed owner Jenny Reddick. The upcoming shop will combine a curated vintage clothing boutique with a café serving high-end coffee.
Reddick told What Now Boston that the retail side will focus on carefully sourced vintage and streetwear pieces, including sportswear, designer garments, collectibles, and sneakers. The goal is to create a space where shoppers can browse rare finds while enjoying a thoughtfully crafted drink.
The café’s coffee program will feature beans from Onyx Coffee Lab, an Arkansas-based specialty roaster known for its award-winning single-origin coffees and espresso blends. Alongside espresso drinks and brewed coffee, the shop plans to offer a lineup of nostalgic grab-and-go snacks and fun food items designed to complement the café’s retro theme.
At roughly 1,000 square feet, the space is being designed to lean heavily into a 1990s-inspired aesthetic. Reddick said guests can expect VHS-era visuals, retro displays, and references to vintage pop culture woven throughout the shop’s interior.
“Nostalgia Vintage Café is a unique vintage clothing store and specialty coffee café in Somerville, MA,” reads the venue’s Google Business page. “Our shop blends 90s nostalgia, pop culture, and modern street style in a creative space where you can browse vintage finds, discover rare pieces, and enjoy great coffee. Whether you’re hunting for vintage sportswear, designer streetwear, or just stopping in for a great espresso, Nostalgia Vintage Café is a place to hang out, explore, and experience something different.”
Final permits are currently being wrapped up, and Reddick hopes to open Nostalgia Vintage Café in mid-April 2026. For updates on the grand opening and previews of the shop’s offerings, follow @nostalgiavintagecafe on Instagram and Threads.
