Sushi Washin will serve authentic Asian cuisine in Boston’s popular Back Bay neighbourhood.
The restaurant is trying to obtain a liquor license ahead of opening. Owner Youquin Wu recently filed for a transfer of the liquor license that once belonged to the now-shuttered Viva Burrito on Staniford Street for use at Sushi Washin.
While Wu is yet to make a statement on the expected timeline of the opening and the inspiration behind the restaurant to What Now Boston, Bostonians can expect a wide spread of Asian cuisine and of course authentic Sushi.
According to the liquor license application filed by the restaurant, the seating plan consists of a catered arrangement for 20 people with designated waiting and dining areas with a separate bar back kitchen for food prep and a front kitchen to take in orders.
With an approximate of 1246 square footage, this establishment will be located on the ground level of the building on 222 Stuart Street.
