Taco Bell Cantina isn’t your typical drive-through Taco Bell experience. It’s a place where you can enjoy a Doritos Locos Taco and have a margarita or cerveza along with it. Why am I sharing this, you ask? The elevated fast food concept has officially set into motion an Allston address at 1222 Commonwealth Avenue.
The new Taco Bell spot post is under review to land at the former residence of Great Scott, a popular music venue known for its low-key reputation and hosting indie live music shows and dance nights. The club closed during the pandemic with hopes to reopen, which never came to fruition.
Taco Bell Cantina restaurants are equipped with an open kitchen, custom menu and specialty alcoholic beverages like beer, wine and spirited versions of its classic Freezes.
