Folio, a new restaurant from The Catered Affair, will soon open at 14 Beacon Street at the Boston Athenaeum, confirmed by the Vice President of Catering Ken Barrett.

“We aren’t 100% sure on our opening date at this time due to permitting necessities, but we are aiming to be able to open our doors sometime in August,” Barrett told What Now Boston.

“Folio will be a blend of a traditional cafe and European bar, where we will be offering shareable bites, house-made soups and salads, charcuterie presentations, and many more options.”

“A unique thing that Folio will be doing is a community project called Community Table, where some of our featured items will be from local businesses and their products, small batch bakers, and others. One of our feature products and businesses would be West African meat pies from Suya Joint as an example,” Ken added.

The Catered Affair and Folio’s mission statement is centered on offering the best menu options possible and the best experience to match. The daytime will offer the more traditional cafe option, while nighttime will offer the European bar feel.
