The HoneyBaked Ham Company is expanding its footprint in New England.

According to MassLive, the pre-cooked ham franchise plans to more than double its presence in Massachusetts. While specific sites are yet to be announced, the company will open four new locations in Springfield, Worcester, and Eastern Massachusetts.

These new stores will be managed by Tom McGwire, a great-grandson of the brand’s founder, Harry Hoenselaar. McGwire, who already operates two HoneyBaked Ham locations in Connecticut, is also planning to open two stores in Rhode Island.

“Our experience since signing our initial deal has been nothing short of spectacular,” McGwire stated in a press release. “The entire leadership team has made the process seamless and it’s thrilling to continue growing the family business. I’m excited to continue adding to the HoneyBaked footprint across the East Coast and bring the experience to more communities across New England.”

Established in 1957, HoneyBaked Ham offers a variety of pre-cooked products, including hams, turkey breasts, side dishes, and desserts. Additionally, their stores offer a lunch menu featuring premium ham and cheese sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, and salads, available for dine-in or takeout.

The company currently operates nearby locations in Framingham, Saugus, and Norwood. Stay tuned for updates on the exact locations of the new HoneyBaked Ham sites.
