The Tree Bar & Lounge is set to open soon at the former site of Lychee Restaurant, located at 1177 Washington St in Braintree. At the helm of this exciting venture is Dave Ferrando from Causeway Restaurant and Bar in Boston, along with Braintree locals Tim and Sam McCasland.

According to The Patriot Ledger, The Tree will offer a menu featuring American fare, gourmet burgers, and crafty cocktails, all within a welcoming and family-friendly environment. The establishment recently shared a sneak peek into some potential appetizer options on Instagram, showcasing a tempting array of meat and seafood delights. The caption accompanying the post reads, “We are working hard to finalize a perfect menu for you all to enjoy 🥓🍗🍤”

In addition, The Tree provided an intimate look at the interior decor in another recent Instagram post. The space boasts a blend of natural and modern elements, including exposed brick and tufted seating that elevate the ambiance. While the initial plan was to welcome guests in the fall of 2023, the timeline has been delayed, and it remains unclear when the establishment will open its doors.

The Tree’s website states, “We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone for your incredible patience. We want you to know that we are putting in extra effort to ensure that our opening is nothing short of exceptional!”
