A new bagel shop from a local hospitality group is coming soon to Allston.

Slated to debut in the summer of 2025, Park Bagelry is the latest concept from Tiny Engine Collective. According to a press release, the upcoming shop will open at 280 Western Ave, adding to a growing lineup of retail experiences at Allston Labworks.

Led by Court Verhaalen, Chef Jennifer Park, and Tucker Lewis, Tiny Engine Collective is known for its portfolio of thoughtful, community-driven spaces—among them Diesel Cafe, Bloc Cafe, and Forge Baking Co. & Ice Cream Bar in Somerville.

Park Bagelry will spotlight unique bagels crafted under the creative direction of Chef Park, using a hybrid recipe that blends elements of sourdough, New York, and Montreal-style bagels—a creation the trio hopes will become known as the Allston/Boston-style bagel.

In addition to its signature bagels, Park will offer house-made ice cream, freshly brewed coffee, and a range of classic cafe fare, all made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

“My partners and I are excited to bring our shared love of great food to this amazing neighborhood in Allston,” said Park.
