Previously Uncle Cheung’s will now be U Dumpling House, located at 266 Worcester Road in Framingham, according to a recent article from Boston Restaurant Talk.
A representative of U Dumpling House did not immediately respond to What Now Boston’s request for comment.
While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, proposed menus from Fun Filtered’s recent article showcase a tantalizing array of dumplings, buns, and a mix of Chinese-American and authentic Chinese dishes. U Dumpling House plans to operate seven days a week, with late-night hours extending until 11 pm on weekends.
Some of the menu offerings in addition to dumplings and buns are a variety of appetizers, rice and noodle options such as lo mein, soups, lunch specials, and more.
U Dumpling House is bringing on board two experienced managers according to Fun Filtered. With one manager hailing from a Boston establishment and the other from AOI, their expertise will be incorporated into the new restaurant.
Feng Yan Li Chen, LLC is set to purchase the space subject to the approval of a liquor license transfer. U Dumpling, Corp., doing business as U Dumpling House, will lease the building from Feng Yan Li Chen LLC.
