It looks like a Braintree restaurant has shuttered to make way for a new concept.

Uno Mas Taco & Tequila Bar has officially closed its doors at 35 Commercial St in Weymouth Landing, according to a message shared on the restaurant’s website and Facebook page. The eatery’s final day of service was December 20, 2025.

“Uno Mas will be closing after service on December 20th for a ‘holiday break’ and reopening in the new year with a new concept,” the announcement reads. “New Year, new us, details to follow! 🥂”

Founded in November 2024 by Evan Harrington, Nick Palermo, and Michael Johnson—the trio behind Liberty Tavern in Quincy—Uno Mas offered Mexican-inspired cuisine with a taco-centric menu alongside nachos, soups, salads, shareable plates, and an extensive tequila selection.

So far, the team has not revealed the name, cuisine, or direction of the forthcoming concept. What Now Boston has reached out for additional details and will update this page as more information becomes available.

In the meantime, guests holding unredeemed Uno Mas Taco & Tequila Bar gift cards are encouraged to email [email protected] to discuss alternative options.
